Meet Elie Sergio – Founder & Wildlife Specialist
The Man Behind the Magic
Trilingual (French, English, Italian) and Madagascar-born, Elie Sergio isn’t just a guide, he’s a wildlife phenomenon. Trained by his naturalist father from age 7, Sergio has spent over 15 years mastering the art of spotting Madagascar’s most elusive creatures.
His superpower?
Spotting chameleons at 80 km/h. Yes, even while driving. Clients call it “the sixth sense.” We call it 15,000+ hours in Madagascar’s forests.
Client Testimonial: “Elie spotted a Brookesia micra (world’s smallest chameleon) that even our group’s professional photographer missed. His knowledge and passion are unmatched.” – Sarah M., UK 🇬🇧
Why This Matters to You
Every Madagascar wildlife guided tour organized by Nature Tour Madagascar carries Elie’s signature: meticulous planning, infectious enthusiasm, and that rare ability to transform wildlife encounters into life-changing moments.
Even when Elie isn’t personally guiding (he leads 8-10 expeditions yearly), every team member is trained to his exacting standards.
My Passion for Wildlife and Chameleons.
My love for wildlife has been with me since childhood, instilled by my father, who used to take me into rainforests. Growing up amidst nature, I developed a keen eye for spotting wild animals, particularly Madagascar’s iconic chameleons. Believe me when I say it has become second nature to me. It’s almost as if I have a sixth sense, whether we’re driving on road at 90 km/h or walking in dense forest, I can easily spot a chameleon hiding among the leaves.
Why Book us as your tour organizer?
